Dicklosure

“Dick” means a lot of things.  It is not meant to offend, and, quite oppositely, is meant to give Red Head an opportunity to level the playing field – the one in her head.  A playing field that is far from equal for women, but one that shows respect to the boys in the club, by acknowledging the humor in their little things.  Her experiences are not meant to represent anyone else’s, nor meant to traumatize/retraumatize.

Red Head’s concern, is furthering someone’s pain – as a result of what literal, metaphorical, and figurative interpretation and one’s own gross experiences can do.  Know that she is aware, and will work to make sure “dick” stories – only sometimes literal – are meant to expose the antiquation in institutionalized systems, relationships and the 37 other things she will discuss.  Jai Ma.
